Compliances under RERA, 2016
A requirement for severe compliance that must be followed by every developer, builder, and construction giant in various regions of the country was established with the introduction of The Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016, which took effect on May 1, 2017. The majority of states have set up their own RERA offices where they operate in accordance with set norms and regulations. The promoters of the company must register every project with the appropriate State RERA offices within three months of the Act’s start date, notwithstanding the fact that it is not retroactive in nature.
